The VMAs were a choice of topic for many people last night, that including multiple artists who felt themselves snubbed or not credited for the impact they made this year as far as visuals or even music are concerned. One of these artists is Meek Mill, who went on a twitter rant calling out Drake, Safaree, and even commenting on Nicki's actions. Nicki and Taylor Swift have a quick exchange of words, and Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran establishes a new "beef".
Just hours before, Nicki claims how she feel she was snubbed with "Anaconda" and "Feeling Myself" not winning video of the year or a nomination, respectively. Taylor Swift then fires back and says how she always supported Nicki and that she shouldn't "pit women against each other" and that her spot was probably taken by a male artist. Nicki then responds and says she supports Taylor all the same but the problem was overlooked by Global Superstar. This even led to Ryan Seacrest posting about it and creating a social divide for Twitter.
Drake has yet to respond to Meek's rant, although half the nation is waiting for something from the 6 Man.
Nicki hasn't publicly addressed Meek's statements although she had her own plate full.
What do you think? Is Meek keeping it real or is he delusional? Should Drake respond or is he bigger than that? Does Nicki have a point of black female entertainers aren't always given the credit they deserve? Was Taylor out of her place? Let your voice be heard and comment below.
