Valentines day is around the corner and you know what that means:
More November babies...
Whether you're seasoned and well experienced
or have yet to have the bird and bees come singing for your nectar
(that was bad. sorry. wont happen again.)
There has been this unprecedented standard of meeting someone and getting to know them first before doing ANYTHING serious.
I stand by that wholeheartedly.
However, we all know how life goes.
Things don't always go as planned.
There are some occasions where you meet someone and everything feels right and you actually have sex on the first time actually meeting each other.
Is that a bad thing?
If so, why are women called a "hoe" or "thot" if they were to have to sex on the first night but that same male would be given the keys to Palace and "Make America Great Again" Baseball cap for accomplishing the same feat.
It's more complicated than the known double standard that women face everyday in the world.
What's bizarre is how they are slandered and ridiculed for making decisions with their OWN body.
It's no secret males are praised and looked at with more "notoriety" if they are able to have sex with a girl on the first night.
However, women can have sex with a man upon the first encounter and that girl will looked at in a negative perspective.
This has to do more so with how the experience is relayed.
Women are generally more conservative, private when it comes to their sex life.
Men usually boast about it and give extensive detail to their peers on how "easy" she was.
Rappers for example.
Most rappers and celebrities are seen to have multiple "one night stands".
So often to where it is an expectation of the career.
If a male rapper such as Lil Wayne or an artist like Chris Brown were to have multiple one night stands, they are praised and boasted about his ability to do so.
The woman on the other end however is called a "groupie" or "thot".
Even women tell other women to have more respect for themselves.
One argument made is that a woman is seen as a "lock" and males are "keys".
Not just for physical triats, but the analogy as follows:
A Key that fits multiple locks, that is a Master Key and is very valuable.
A Lock that fits multiple keys, is seen as a faulty lock and deemed invaluable.
A strong analogy but this doesn't make the double standard fair for women.
One who can do as she please.
I believe it's important to getting know the person you are interested in becoming sexually involved with.
Ask plenty of questions and spend time learning a person before sharing vibes and frequencies.
Sometimes in life, if the vibe is just right and everything goes "perfect" , if you're comfortable, no one has the right to judge or tell you what actions to do when it comes to your body.
Love yourself and be aware of who you let inside of you or whoever you choose to enter inside.
What are your thoughts about sex on the first night?
One Night Stands?
Should they be a no go territory or are they ok at certain times?
Or at all times?
